Behind Insecta

Insecta began with a shared curiosity, a desire to look closer, to slow down, and to notice what often goes unseen. It is the meeting point of two worlds: science and style. observation and expression. What started as a fascination with microscopic beauty became a language of design.

What We belive

Butterflies carry a kind of beauty that doesn’t ask to be seen. It unfolds through time and unseen stages, where each moment shapes what follows, and the smallest details reveal their deeper meaning. We see in butterflies a reflection of women who grow with intention. Women who move through change and uncertainty in silence, giving themselves the time to become who they are, without rushing the process

A Quiet Responsibility

The butterflies we work with are never taken from life. They come to us only after their natural journey has ended, leaving behind forms shaped by time and stillness. Through scientific observation and preservation, we reveal the details that remain: patterns, textures, and structures once unseen. Insecta exists to honor beauty after life has passed, allowing it to be admired with care, never disturbed.

Dr. Sally

Pharmacist. Microscopic Photographer

Sally’s work begins where the naked eye stops. Through microscopic photography, she explores the hidden structures of the insect world patterns, textures, and forms that exist beyond scale. Her photographs have been showcased in many international exhibitions, where they stand not only as research but also as visual experiences, revealing beauty where it is least expected. Beyond exhibitions, Sally teaches children through workshops, introducing them to microscopic photography and helping them understand that wonder often lives beneath the surface. For her, science is not distant or clinical. It is a way of seeing, patient, curious, and deeply respectful of life

Dr. Nesma

Brand Stylist. Creative Direction & Operations.

Nesma translates observation into expression. As the brand stylist, she shapes the visual language of Insecta, from color palettes and composition to how each piece feels when worn. Beyond aesthetics, Nesma manages the operations behind the brand, ensuring that every detail aligns with intention. Her role bridges creativity and structure, allowing design to remain thoughtful, consistent, and true to its origin. For her, styling is not decoration. It is storytelling, guided by balance, emotion, and restraint.

Where Their Worlds Meet

Insecta exists in the space between Sally’s observations and Nesma’s interpretations. Between what is discovered and what is designed. Between science that reveals and fashion that carries meaning. Together, they created Insecta as a way to preserve moments, not by holding onto them, but by translating them into something lasting.
